While an insurance company may discuss its direct repair program or drive in claim centers with you, it is YOUR CHOICE where you have inspections, estimates or repair work done. They cannot force you to use their auto repair shops.
Except for window glass repair, an insurance company cannot recommend a particular shop unless you ask for a recommendation.
